One of the most important things to know is that we create an experience where the participation, commitment and free time of the trainee (we call them players) is paramount. We have a HR&Academy playbook (coming soon) ready for you to guide you through the steps and also provide you with some communications that help you and your management to create the ‘mind space’ to fully commit to our training.
To give you an example: In our trainings we expect people to fully commit their time to their team, the goal and their learning experience. We understand that some participants to a training also have other duties in the company. It will be your and their managers’ responsibility to make sure the time of the participant is free of commitments and disturbances. We prepared a note to management, that explains the situation so they can prepare in a timely fashion. For all intents and purposes it’s a day off without any means to contact the team of trainees.
Here’s a list of responsibilities we take and organise from a-z, or with your help.
- Onboard the HR/ Academy organisation with a playbook, insurance agreements, guidelines and more
- Have people apply for the training. We ask the trainee about expectations, their commitment and personal goals.
- Create a selection with a maximum of 25 trainees together with the HR/ Academy organisation
- Onboard the trainees with guidelines, tips and tricks and about the location
- Supply and organise the entire two days of training, excluding transport and stay, but including food, snacks, location, drink, etc.
- After care, content, feedback and community at one day, one week, one month and three months after the training
- Certification based on fulfilment and commitment
- After care for the HR/ Academy organisation, including a review
Please note: although we proudly base our training on the wonderful vision of Ideo.org and the principles of Human Centered Design, we are not affiliated with Ideo, nor do we certify in name of Ideo.
